Roofing Sheet Materials for Civil Buildings in The Countrysi

Many people in the countryside are more fortunate than folks in the city, because they can decide what kind of house to build, while city dwellers can only leave decision rights to land agents. Country people, however, need to learn more knowledge about building materials, like roofing sheet materials. If you live in the south of China, for example, where it rains a lot, you need to choose materials of good water proof effect. On the other hand, there’s no such requirement for houses in the north where the main problem is extreme coldness, and here people should pay more attention to cold resistance while choosing roofing sheet for their new houses.
Roofing sheet, roofing sheet materials

Generally speaking, there are as many as seven types of roofing sheet materials applied in the countryside, but if combines the materials only fall on five types, including metals (aluminum, steel, copper etc.), water-proof coil (asphalt and macro-molecule), pottery clay, stone and light materials like rock wool, grass and twigs of the chaste tree etc. Metal roofing sheets are of larger size than those of pottery clay and can be installed more easily. After being processed by coating, metal sheets can last five to twenty five years. The service life varies with differences of metal types and coating processes. Potter clay sheet can also be coated with different colors and designs. It is especially suitable for expensive buildings or houses which are easy to catch fire. It’s price proves to be twice of that of top quality colored asphalt roofing sheets, but it boasts extremely long service life. The main advantages of stone sheet are its long service life, water proof ability and rich colors. In comparison, light materials are the cheapest, but they show poor performance in resisting rust, fire and even worms.
